At YAYOI, we prepare teishoku with a healthy balance of dishes on a single tray. These set meals contain freshly-cooked rice, the staple food of the Japanese people, accompanied by miso soup and other main and side dishes.
We at YAYOI will continue our efforts to promote the unique styles and wisdom of Japanese food culture to the world through our teishoku dishes.
YAYOI, taking traditional Japanese cuisine into the world and the future.
Order using this tablet. Looks sleeker and classy compared to the ones in Sushi King. Looks like an iPad.
The ambience of this place is really good.
Pork katsu teishoku. Delicious and not too dry according to my friend.
Gyudon with egg. Very delicious because the beef was marinated well with the japanese sweet sauce.
Pouring the egg into my gyudon
This is the marinated pork cutlet set.
The place is really cosy and serene, very comfy. Recommended if you''re looking for a relaxed place and good meal with your family and friends.
Us again at our seat
D ordered this eel set and it was served like that, with that "manual/ instruction" on how to enjoy the eel rice.
This square ladle is filled with dashi soup. Their soups are not heavy tasting, very light as compared to the ones served at other japanese restaurants.
Supposed to pour out into the cup?
Just a shot to feature this cup coz I find it really cute.
This is the unagi my dad ordered. Not bad, tastes quite light but eel was fresh.
Would definitely come here again mostly for the ambience and the affordable yet tasty japanese food.
