Luk Yu Teahouse, Starhill

It was a sunday after church again!
M had vouchers to Luk Yu Chinese Restaurant in Starhill (So, posh!) thanks to her colleague from work.

So, we chose to eat Dim Sum (premium, higih quality Dim Sum!). M dined here before and knew what was good so we followed all her recommendations. Here are the photos.

Lao Sha Bao before it was poked open!

Lao Sha Bao after one bite!
The filling was a bit too sticky but
I love any Lao Sha Bao regardless!

This was what I meant by the filling being slight sticky.
Char Siew Pao tasted awesome too!

Steamed Beancurd with chicken and prawn filling.
It is as good as it looks! Photo unedited at all using his iPhone 6.

The pots and plates have very oriental designs. Nice feel :)

The chicken congee was really smooth and the yao char kuey goes well with it!
Already started to feel super filled at this point.

Premium Siu Mai!
Huge and generous with the amount and portion of meat.

Chee Cheong Fun was so so only,
so you might wanna skip this?
I liked having the vege though.

I cannot remember what this was but I guess it tasted great
coz I don't remember complaining about it?

Fried carrot cake tasted great too!

I forgot the name of this mee but it tasted like singapore fried meehoon.

This was something quite unique:
Deep fried Mango and prawn filling.
You will forget about "a moment on your lips, forever on your hips".
Tasted too good to forego

Must go! We will definitely definitely return again! Will be eyeing for groupon vouchers to this very oriental and cosy restaurant in the heart of the hustling bustling busy KL!

Rocku, on seventh heaven, Pavilion :P

It was Valentine's. They say happiness can be created, so I went ahead to reserve a place for two at Rocku. Unfortunately, the place was full and no longer can take additional reservations, as expected during valentine's lah!  I was hard up to try having a meal at this pricey Japanese restaurant (it isn't something you can eat on a regular basis la, at least for me). So, my bf and I decided to walk-in after church! Thank God we were early enough and there was no queue, went in and was seated at a fairly good location because we were near to the salad counter (I had time to take chinese new year photos with my church friends earlier too! Talk about rushing on Valentine's!).

So...
enter the Rocku

Ready, set, GRILL!

Beef, oh, tender beef!

The bestest meat on the menu: Bacon! (Non-halal)

The leftmost orange coloured sauce tasted the best!

They have scallops too! So-so. The Enoki was good!
But don't bother with the prawns, not so fresh.

Scallop and mussels and salmon fillet. Mussels were ok too.

Happy satisfied me! TQ for footing the bill, mr bf. Hehe
