Soft cookies

Hello.. another throwback post. Have always been inspired by subway soft cookies because personally think they taste awesome (yeah, I am a sweet tooth!).
This is my first so-called attempt to bake such cookies but don't think they work out exactly the same.
Randomly picked a soft cookie recipe online and impulsively baked them (of course, after getting the correct ingredients from bangsar village).

Tadaaa!!

Packed some for my buddy too!

The cookies were not that soft but delicious enough for me to wanna make them again!

Maru-tama Ramen at Empire Mall, Subang

Another throwback post from Saturday (5.4.2014)!

So, it was almost 2pm at Empire Mall, Subang and we were starving badly. The Empire Mall has a good variety of restaurants and we were spoilt for choices. Chillies? Serai (again)? La Bodega? The Loaf? Kenny Rogers? .... Finally we went into Maru-tama Ramen.

This kinda soupy ramen are usually really salty,
but personally I think this one was just nice :)

One bowl cost you about rm25, which I think is kinda pricey if you think of it as "merely a bowl of noodles in miso soup". Nevertheless, its tastes is incredibly good and we definitely would come back next time (when we get our next pay, or next next pay coz I really think ramen nowadays are so expensive).

But.. on a separate note.. I think if you come too often you may find the soup a bit too salty when you are about to finish the entire bowl (14/9/2014)

Ciaoz.

Thai camp @ Paramount PJ

Hello!

It has been a very "eventful" (busy) weekend so did not have much time to sit down and blog =.=

So here is a throwback (Friday).

Went to Thai camp for lunch with bf as the place was recommended to us by a dear colleague. She came to know about the place because one of our mutual colleague's cousin is actually the owner of this Thai restaurant! From the outside, the shop does not look too spacious but once you step in the tables and chairs are arranged very well so it did not make me feel claustrophobic :)
But sorry I do not have a photo of the shop taken from outside ><

The place is relatively new and according to the owner, this is only its 4th month! Have a look at this quaint shop...

This is the red curry chicken I had.
Delicious and best of all it is priced at an affordable price of rm6.90
for this reasonable portion of dish!

Iced pandan drink. Very thirst-quenching and personally
would recommend this to anyone who lunch/dine at Thai Camp!
Priced at rm2.90 only :)

My bf ordered minced meat with basil leaf and a pad thai. He definitely over oredered..lol! But he said the portion is so much that lunch was really satisfying that day.

Orite. Have to run.
See ya soon!
